Quarter-finals Matchup - Brobafett vs Mhd

Final game preview for the quarter-finals.  Brobafett's Thrawn 2 ship vs Mhd's Sloane squadrons.

Semi-Final Round - Green Knight vs Tokra

Two of the best European Players face off.  Only one can make the finals.  Green Knight and Tokra.  Darth Vader and Admiral Sloane.

Quarter-Final Preview - Tokra vs Aresius

Here's the final Quarter-Final matchup.  Not a lot of games left to play.  Let's check out Tokra, one of the best European players and the top German competitor and his matchup against Aresius, a top Italian player and the third place finisher at European Continentals to Tokra's second place.  I'm not sure if they've personally played one another before, but they have certainly been in the same tournament.

Only one moves on to the final four.  Will it be Tokra, or will Aresius show that he's able to finish on the big stage?

Elimination Round- Captain Weather vs Karneck

Only two more previews left.  Truthiness was supposed to write this one but he's been slacking, so this is Biggs writing on his behalf.

Elimination Round - Tokra vs themightyhedgehog

We are still waiting for the final game of POD#7, which should take place tonight.  Here's the last of the previews before that game takes place - Tokra vs themightyhedgehog!

Biggs At US Nationals - Sloane's Steel Squadron and the Thrawn Doctorine

"They'll be the architects of their own destruction." - Grand Admiral Thrawn

"We need to demonstrate martial ability. The Empire is a hammer striking down disorder, not a knife slipped between unsuspecting ribs." - Admiral Sloane

It's time for US Nationals.  By the time this is posted, I'll be playing in the Friday wave, trying to fill the seat vacated by 2 time Champion Quynh "Ice Qube" Nguyen, who will not be competing in favor of acting as Marshal for the event.  In a world filled with Boarding Team Avengers and... whatever the Rebels are trying to do these days, an Imperial commander needs to be smart in dealing with their opponents both without and within.

Playing By The Rules - Intentions and Reality

It pains me to write another article on the state of the game, but we have ourselves a teachable moment here.  So today we are going to talk about the recent drama over the very rules that govern how the game we love is played.  Before I go any further, the views expressed in this article are my (Biggs') views, and they aren't necessarily correct or even the views of the other members of this website.  With that in mind...

Wave 6 Upgrades - Admiral Sloane - Commander

Today is the release date for Wave 6, so let's discuss the commander that everyone is actually talking about!  It's time for General Organa again!

Just kidding, it's really Admiral Sloane.
