The Matchup

How well can the Sloane Aces contend with Vader's Devastator?  That is the big question.  On one side, 2 combat ships and 4 flotilla.  On the other side, 1 combat ship, 8 squadrons, and 4 flotilla.  Green Knight has put down a LOT of Sloanes already, and the squadrons... kinda power Devastator up.  Specifically, Sloane squadrons power Devastator up, and Devastator can just burn defense tokens anyway and try to survive entirely on it's hull.  And 11 long range dice is a lot of anger to put downfield.

Tokra on the other hand has put away Dodonna lists that are high in squadrons.  Can he switch his squadrons over to anti-ship and deal with Devastator?  He does have deployment advantage, to get his big ship into a spot where it will be more difficult to get to, and without good formation flying, Green Knight won't be able to put a lot of anti-squadron flak on his squadrons.

In the end, Green Knight has done nothing but splash Admiral Sloanes from the start of elimination.  I doubt this goes any differently.

Truthiness' Bet

Green Knight has created a monster in his Devastator that feeds off of Sloane's strengths. Still, unlike Green Knight's previous two opponents, Tokra loses almost no squadron efficiency if his ISD goes down. He can afford to trade ISD for ISD. I think Tokra will use his deployment advantage combined with an ISD slow roll. Look for him to try to burst down Demo with his uncontested squadrons early. It then comes down to a rather uneven fight of ISD vs ISD+squads. Objectives aside, Tokra can walk away satisfied just killing Demo and Devastator, likely even if he loses his Cymoon in return. I think Tokra comes away with this one. He is just too efficient with his list to bet against.
