Quarter-Final Round - Dupy vs Roquax

Onward to the Quarter-Final round.  Here, we stop caring what players did in the distant past - they are here for a reason!  Now "Intangibles" will be looking at what it took for the player to get to this point in the tournament, and what kind of tournament they are having.

The Matchup:

The question:  Will "2+X" reign supreme, or are combat ships more important than squadron supremacy?  Roquax runs a strong squadron base, and has his points dedicated to dominating the squadron fight.  But he lacks much in the way of combat ships if he can't get his bombers on target.  Dupy might be outclassed in squadrons, but he has a lot of them and he can get his ships in and out of combat quickly.

Dupy has just come from beating GhostofNobodyInParticular, a very similar matchup, though GNIPS didn't have the VCX's to keep his flotilla / Yavaris out of harms way.  The question is how will Roquax handle multiple combat ships with significant fighter support?  He has managed pretty well so far, but it is a matchup he hasn't yet had to face in the tournament.

Biggs's Bet:

Dupy won the previous matchup against a 2+X Dodonna, but this one I think takes away the advantages he had and hands them back to Roquax.  Not going to lie, even though the money is on Roquax, I want Dupy to win just because of my love of combat ships vs "2+X" list building.
