Both players in POD #8 moving on are big into ships?  How big?  We have 4 squadrons advance out of POD #8, and they are all on the other guy's list.  Roquax does it his way with 6 activation, 6 deployment, 0 squadrons, and with a 381 bid to put himself at the top of the charts going into the elimination rounds.  He has gone with 3 combat and 3 support ships - Screed in a lifeboat and 2 comms net Gozantis supporting an ISD, a fat Clonisher style Demo, and a TRC Arquitens with Needa.

Interestingly enough, it hasn't won all three games - while he did win big against his other two opponents, he lost a narrow game to his other advancing opponent, PT106.  Still, the other wins were enough to put him firmly in the driver's seat as the winner of the POD.

He will be matched up against MattShadowlord in the first elimination game.

Imperial I-Class Star Destroyer (110 points)
-  Skilled First Officer  ( 1  points)
-  Ordnance Experts  ( 4  points)
-  X17 Turbolasers  ( 6  points)
= 121 total ship cost

1 Colonel Jendon ( 20 points)
1 Bossk ( 23 points)
1 Darth Vader ( 21 points)
1 Boba Fett ( 26 points)

PT106 is well known for going big with dual ISDs, and this fleet is no different.  He actually has brought a small fighter contingent with him for this game though, which is a slight change from his ISD1 x2, Raider x3 lists in the past that have been so terrifying to his opponents.  At 5 deployments, and 3 activations, the list isn't looking to trick anyone in deployment, and the 392 bid puts him right in the middle of the pack so far.

His list is simple - hit the enemy with a pair of ISD1s that are kitted cheaply, so even if they are destroyed, they punch above their weight.  Protect his flagship, in this case the fattest Gozanti the world will ever see with Motti onboard.  Bossk, Vader, Jendon, and Fett are good all-rounders and mostly work without much help, so he can either farm fighters or hit enemy ships if no fighter cover is around.

Again, his three games were all wins, and he will be up against Reath28 and his Rhymerball list in the first elimination game!

  1. Some folks bring lifeboats for their commanders, PT brought a life-yacht.
